After we graduated from New Tribes Bible Institute, leadership recommended we continued our missions training. New Tribes Mission had recently consolidated their missions training centers to two locations; Durham, Ontario, CANADA and Camdenton, Missouri, USA. After much prayer and consideration we attended the Durham campus (2006-2008).

Our first year of study was spent learning how to plant an indigenous church, how to set up solar panels, plumbing, and electrical systems.

Our second year of study focused primarily on phonemics, phonetics, universal grammar and CLA (culture and language acquisition). These tools equip us to effectively learn a language and culture that is not our own. We also learned basic medical care during our second year.
